  LOCATION

Q. Where is the simulcast being held?
A. It is being held at the First United Methodist Church in downtown Oklahoma City, OK.

Q. Is this a religious event?
A. No, it is not. This Maximum Impact event is a live simulcast event featuring today's top leaders. The church hosts the simulcast and invites business leaders from the community into their church for this one-day leadership training event. Our speakers focus on leadership and do not incorporate any preaching or church language into their presentations, unless connected to their personal faith journey.

  CPE CREDITS

Q. What credit will I receive for attending this simulcast ?
A. At the end of the simulcast, attendants will receive a "Certificate of Professional Leadership Development" in recognition of their completion of the 6 hours simulcast program.

Q. I'm a CPA. Can I get CPE credits?

A. It is our understanding that the Oklahoma Accountancy Board does not pre-approve CPE courses before they are officially reported to the Board. They do accept personal development courses as long as these courses help to maintain or improve a CPA's professional competence and as long as they meet the CPE standards in Chapter 15, Subchapter 32 of the Oklahoma Administrative Code and are documented in accordance with 10:15-32-6. The Code is available on the OAB website. A CPA would need to be able to justify how the course would enhance their ability to serve public accounting clients to count it as public accounting hours. Please check with the Oklahoma Accountancy Board directly... we're not CPAs.

 

TICKET PURCHASES

Q. What tickets?
A. Each attendee must have an event ticket, which can be purchased for only $45 each ($55 if purchased after 03/31/2008). You can purchase them in advance by registering on our secure website (recommended) or at the simulcast site. We recommend attendees fill out the back of the tickets before arriving at the simulcast site.

Q. How will I actually get the tickets?
A. Once you have placed your order in our secured web site, we will contact you by telephone and confirm your order. At that time, you can tell us whether you would like for us to mail your tickets (via US Mail), or if you prefer to pick them up at the simulcast site (131 NW 4th Street) on or before April 18.

Q. Can I buy tickets with a company or personal check?
A. Sure! Just email us and tell us your name and daytime phone number, and what the best time to reach you is during normal business hours. We will then make arrangements for a check purchase.

Q. Is there a group discount? If so how many people and how much?
A.  When you purchase in advance of the event 11 tickets or more, you receive a 10% discount; for 26 tickets or more, you receive a 20% discount.

  PARKING

Q What parking areas are available?
A: There is limited free parking available on the east side of the simulcast facility. There's also a pay parking lot immediately north (NW 5th and Robinson) and east (NW4th and Broadway) of the simulcast facility . There are several other parking lots within walking distance of the church. We recommend carpooling whenever possible.

  LUNCH

Q. What about lunch?
A. We will break for lunch between 11:00 AM and 12:00 PM. There are several restaurants at walking distance from the simulcast facility. We are currently making plans to provide lunch at the simulcast facility.
